Use/Example of Use

- Molecular weight measurement of various samples such as Environmental Substances, Peptides, Pharmaceuticals, Synthetic Substances, and Metabolites
- Prediction of molecular structure using fragmentation
- Qualitative screening of samples and separation by circulating ion mobility

Equipment Description

The SELECT SERIES Cyclic IMS system consists of a Q-Tof combination with an API ionization source, cyclic ion mobility separation (Multi-Function Region) and dual stage reflectron ion detection system (V and W-mode).
- Cyclic IMS (IMSn): Separation of isobaric components of the same mass value using multi-pass separation, improving sensitivity through isolation of specific molecules, increasing information and separating different compound classes by separating and removing interfering components, molecular conformation (collision) cross section) and reduce complexity..
- CID/IMS and IMS/CID: Reduce the complexity of MS/MS spectra through fragmentation before and after IMS, or generate independent MS/MS spectra of additional isolated or isolated species for accurate structural elucidation
